Edo Decides 2024: PDP Supporters Protest at INEC Office
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters staged a protest at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Benin City, Edo State, over alleged tampering with governorship election results.
With 16 out of 18 local government areas released, APC leads in 10, while PDP leads in six.
Protesters claimed the announced results differed from those at polling units and demanded President Bola Tinubu’s intervention.
A protester, Frank, said: “We won’t allow anyone to tamper with Edo people’s wishes. We have authentic results, and the announced ones are different.”
