On his Obi One Podcast, Mikel stated, “Nicolas Jackson wants the best for Chelsea Football Club… There is an absolutely fantastic player there.” He praised Jackson’s finishing, noting, “The way he scored the two goals is absolutely fantastic.”
Mikel also commended midfielder Moisés Caicedo’s performance, comparing it to N’Golo Kanté’s style. “Moisés Caicedo’s best game in a Chelsea shirt… It was a bit like a Kante kind of performance.”
The former Nigeria international expressed optimism about Chelsea’s future under manager Enzo Maresca, citing the team’s improving system and philosophy. Mikel enjoyed Chelsea’s current style of play, saying, “It’s so refreshing, as a Chelsea fan, to sit down and watch us play.”
