Notorious Boko Haram Terrorist Surrenders in Borno

A key Boko Haram operative, Bochu Abacha, has surrendered to the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in Borno State’s Kukawa Local Government Area.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Olaniyi Osoba, MNJTF’s Information Officer, Abacha confessed to participating in several terrorist operations along the Mongunu-Baga axis.

Abacha surrendered due to intense MNJTF operations and lack of interest. Recovered items include:
- AK 47 rifle with 11 rounds of ammunition
- Mobile phone and Airtel SIM card
- N32,500
In a separate incident, MNJTF troops ambushed Boko Haram terrorists conveying logistics supplies in Gubio, killing one terrorist and recovering:
- 3 Toyota vehicles loaded with foodstuffs and sundry items
- N2,000
