President Tinubu to Travel to France

President Bola Tinubu is set to travel to France on Monday, August 19, departing from Abuja, the nation’s capital. He will return to Nigeria following a short work stay in France. This trip is part of his ongoing diplomatic engagements.

Mr. Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced the trip in a statement released on Sunday.

Prior to this upcoming visit, President Tinubu returned from Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Friday, where he and President Teodoro Obiang Nguema signed an agreement related to the Gulf of Guinea Pipeline Project. This agreement aims to strengthen the partnership between the two nations for mutual development.

During their meeting, the two presidents also revitalized the Nigeria-Equatorial Guinea Joint National Commission, discussing various collaborative initiatives. They outlined plans for further bilateral activities to be activated in November 2024 under this commission.
