Abia State’s Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has expressed concerns over a proposed Local Government bill, alleging it violates a Supreme Court judgment granting financial autonomy to local governments. In a letter to the Speaker, the NLC stated the bill would allocate 90% of local government funds to the state government, leaving 10% for local governments.
