Veteran Nollywood actor Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, popularly known as Charles Olumo or “Agbako,” has passed away at 101.

Agbako was a beloved figure in the Yoruba film industry, known for powerful portrayals of characters like chiefs, warriors, and villains.

He began his career in stage plays and transitioned to film, becoming a key figure in Nollywood’s early days.

Agbako starred in classics like Ogbori Elemosho and Atorunmo, earning him a place as a Yoruba film legend.

The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) announced his passing, with burial arrangements to be shared later.
