Renowned Nollywood director and editor Dimeji Ajibola has died after a battle with an undisclosed illness.
Ajibola, 46, passed away on November 3, 2024.

He was the director of the critically acclaimed 2023 crime thriller series “Shanty Town” and the award-winning 2012 urban musical film “Hoodrush.”
Actor Bolanle Ninalowo confirmed the news on Instagram, paying tribute to Ajibola.
Ajibola’s work earned multiple awards, including Best Movie at the 2012 Green Me Film Festival in Germany.
The Nollywood community mourns the loss of a talented filmmaker.
