Minnesota Community Rocked by Tragic Shooting Incident
Duluth, Minnesota – November 11, 2024
A devastating shooting incident has left five people dead in Duluth, Minnesota. Authorities identified the shooter as 46-year-old Anthony Nephew, who struggled with mental health issues.
Nephew fatally shot his wife, Kathryn, 45, and their 7-year-old son, Oliver, in one home. He also killed his ex-partner, Erin Abramson, 47, and their 15-year-old son, Jacob, in another residence. Nephew then took his own life.
Investigation revealed Nephew’s online posts expressing anti-Trump and left-wing views, as well as concerns about religious extremism and mental health. His social media activity included fears about being targeted due to his beliefs.
Police are still determining the motive behind the shootings. The community has been assured there is no ongoing threat.
