The Ogun State Police Command has launched an investigation into an alleged assassination attempt on Adebowale Emmanuel, a chief in the Iredo Community of Lagos State. The incident occurred on Monday while Emmanuel was traveling from Ijebu Ode to Ikorodu via the Ijebu Ode-Epe Expressway. According to the police spokesperson, Odutola Omolola, several bullets pierced Emmanuel’s vehicle during the attack.
