Ukraine is evacuating civilians from the city of Pokrovsk and its surrounding areas, about 10 kilometers from the fighting, where some 50,000 people still live. The Donetsk region has seen intense fighting as Moscow continues its offensive, while also trying to fight off a Ukrainian counter-assault in its own Kursk border region.

The Kherson region, which was liberated in autumn 2022 but remains within reach of Russian weapons, reported two deaths and five injuries. The ongoing conflict has caused significant humanitarian concerns, with civilians caught in the middle of the fighting.
