Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has responded to Tony Okocha’s claim that Chibuike Amaechi will lead the fight against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Eze stated that Tinubu is already aware of the reasons he will fail in 2027, citing the administration’s ineptitude, policy inconsistencies, and corruption, which have led to high unemployment, insecurity, and food price hikes.
Eze cautioned Okocha against using Amaechi to gain favor with his paymasters and advised him to focus on addressing the country’s problems rather than making baseless claims about 2027. He reminded Okocha that no one can predict the future and that Tinubu’s leadership position in the APC is secure.
Eze also accused Okocha of organizing a paid protest in support of Tinubu after his ouster by the court, which cost over fifty million Naira without achieving any impact. He urged Okocha and his sponsors to channel their energy towards finding solutions to the country’s problems rather than spreading misinformation.
In conclusion, Eze emphasized that Tinubu’s administration has failed Nigerians, and it is foolish to discuss 2027 when the country is facing numerous challenges. He advised Okocha to focus on addressing these issues rather than making unfounded claims about the future.
