A mother and her two children were rescued by the Kano State Fire Service after their building collapsed in the Makwarari axis of Kano Municipal Local Government Area. The incident occurred on Friday at around 9:30 am, and the firemen responded promptly to the emergency call.
The victims, identified as Balaraba Abba, 35, and her two sons, Abdulnasir Jilani, 12, and Abdullahi Jilani, 9, were trapped in the one-storey building. They were rescued alive and taken to Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the building collapse is currently under investigation. The Kano State Fire Service’s quick response and rescue efforts ensured the survival of the family.
