Pastor Adewale Giwa of Awaiting The Second Coming of Christ Ministry has warned Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu is not the solution to the country’s problems. He stated that Tinubu is not the Messiah Nigerians are expecting and that his presidency will only lead to more destruction and disintegration of the country.
Giwa criticized Tinubu’s policies, particularly the removal of fuel subsidies, which has led to increased prices and hardship for Nigerians. He likened Tinubu to the biblical Abimeleck, who became king but brought no peace.
The pastor advised Nigerians not to rejoice over Tinubu’s presidency, as it will only lead to more suffering. He also called on Tinubu to return his certificate of return to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Giwa’s statement comes as Nigerians continue to lament the current economic downturn and increased prices of goods and services. The removal of fuel subsidies has been particularly contentious, with many criticizing the government’s decision.
The pastor’s warning is a stark contrast to the optimism that greeted Tinubu’s inauguration. However, as the country’s economic situation continues to deteriorate, more Nigerians are expressing disappointment and frustration with the government’s policies.
