Rabiu Kwankwaso, the national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has expressed confidence in winning the 2027 presidential election. Kwankwaso, who was the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, made this statement while inaugurating the NNPP Secretariat in Katsina.
Kwankwaso declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is “already dead” and that the NNPP is poised to take over the presidency, states, and other positions in the 2027 general elections. He urged Nigerians, particularly women and youths, not to be swayed by financial inducements during the next elections.
The former Kano State Governor commended the party’s leaders and stakeholders for renovating the state secretariat, which he said is part of preparations for success in the 2027 elections. He also emphasized the importance of education, symbolized by the party’s new logo.
The NNPP state Chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, highlighted the need for grassroots sensitization to inform members about the new logo and its significance. Kwankwaso’s statement has sparked interest and debate among political analysts and Nigerians, with some viewing his confidence as a positive sign for the party’s prospects in the 2027 elections.
