Morrison Olori, a Delta State-based businessman and All Progressives Congress chieftain, has defended President Bola Tinubu’s reforms, urging Nigerians to be patient as the administration tackles the country’s challenges.
Olori stated that the policies initiated by the Tinubu-led administration aim to alleviate poverty and will yield results in the near future. He highlighted the president’s foreign trips, which have attracted foreign investments, and the commencement of production by Dangote Refinery, which will stabilize fuel prices.
However, Olori called on President Tinubu to lift import duties on food items until local food production improves, citing arbitrary price increases by farmers. He commended the president’s efforts to revive industries, attract investors, and boost manufacturing, emphasizing the need for patience as the policies take effect.
Olori expressed optimism that the fuel price will decrease with the commissioning of the Dangote Refinery and the completion of repair works on government refineries. He urged Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s efforts to revitalize the economy, dismissing protests as unnecessary.
