Enugu Begins 48-Hour Manhunt for Killers of Market Chairman
Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has directed security agencies to apprehend the killers of Ogbete Main Market Traders Association Chairman, Stephen Aniagu, within 48 hours. Aniagu was killed by unknown gunmen on Saturday evening.

The governor stated, “We have the will, technology, and resources to pursue, track down, overtake, and defeat such workers of wickedness. Those who committed this atrocity have bitten off more than they can chew.”
Mbah urged the public to go about their lawful business, assuring that the security of lives and property remains the government’s top priority. He commiserated with Aniagu’s family, community, and OMMATA, noting that the late market leader served with distinction.
The police have commenced an investigation into the killing, and the governor has promised that the perpetrators will be captured and justice served according to the law.
