Lagos Police Arrest Stepfather, Others for Defiling 12-Year-Old Girl
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a stepfather, Chibuzor Benjamin, and two others for allegedly defiling Benjamin’s 12-year-old stepdaughter in Ago Okota. The spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest, stating that Emmanuel Okechukwu and Sunday Akpan were also arrested.
According to Hundeyin, the stepfather and Akpan confessed to the crime, while Okechukwu denied the allegations. The suspects were arraigned in court for defilement.
In a separate incident, 35-year-old Goodwin Femi was arrested for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl in Ibeju Lekki. Femi allegedly threatened to kill the victim if she revealed the incident.
