Tinubu appoints seven directors for NTA

President Bola Tinubu has appointed seven executive directors to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). This move aims to strengthen the NTA’s leadership and enhance its services.

The Newly Appointed Executive Directors Are:

  • Ayo Adewuyi: Reappointed as Executive Director, News
  • Ibrahim Aliyu: Executive Director, Special Duties – Legal Practitioner
  • Muhammed Mustapha: Executive Director, Administration and Training
  • Mrs. Apinke Effiong: Executive Director, Finance, with expertise in financial marketing, treasury, management accounting, and reporting
  • Mrs. Tari Taylaur: Executive Director, Programme, an audio/visual creator, producer, and showrunner
  • Mr. Sadique Omeiza: Executive Director, Engineering
  • Mrs. Oluwakemi Fashina: Executive Director, Marketing, an integrated marketing communications professional and chartered marketer

These appointments were announced by Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, in a State House release ¹. This development is expected to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to the NTA, enhancing its role in Nigeria’s broadcasting landscape.
