Tributes Pour in as Bishop David Oyedepo Celebrates 70th Birthday
Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, marked his 70th birthday with a grand celebration at the ministry’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State. Dignitaries, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, President Bola Tinubu, and governors, honored Oyedepo’s impactful life and ministry.
Obasanjo praised Oyedepo’s humility and contributions, noting the rapid development of his ministry. Tinubu highlighted Oyedepo’s significant influence through educational and health initiatives. Governor Sanwo-Olu described Oyedepo as a role model for millions.
The Christian Association of Nigeria hailed Oyedepo as a “legend of faith” and transformative leader. Archbishop Margaret Idahosa and Pastor Enoch Adeboye also shared heartfelt tributes.
Oyedepo expressed gratitude, emphasizing his reliance on God’s grace. “I am not an achiever… I am only a blessed partaker of the manifold grace of God.”
