Tragedy struck at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Wildlife Park in Abeokuta, Ogun State, when a lion attacked and killed its 35-year-old handler, Babaji Daule. The incident occurred on Saturday when Daule was feeding the lion in its inner enclosure after the park’s closing time. Unfortunately, he neglected to secure the locks and barricade of the lion’s enclosure, allowing the animal to escape and attack him ¹ ².
