Joseph Dosu, a former Nigerian goalkeeper, narrowly escaped death in a tragic accident in Lagos. Dosu’s car was crushed by a trailer laden with iron in the Ojodu Berger area.

Dosu shared the incident on social media, expressing gratitude for his survival. “To God be the glory, another death escape by grace and mercy of God…”

The accident occurred at an Enyo fuel station when the trailer veered off the road and hit Dosu’s car. He was with a friend, SM, at the time.

This near-death experience is not Dosu’s first. In 1997, an accident damaged his spinal cord, prematurely ending his promising football career.

Dosu won the 1996 Atlanta Olympics football gold and the Nigerian FA Cup in 1996 with Julius Berger.
