The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched an air attack on a Hamas command center in the Gaza Strip’s Deir al-Balh area, specifically within the Shuhada al-Aqsa hospital. This strike follows previous attacks on Hamas command centers located in a former school and mosque.
The IDF emphasized that extensive measures were taken to minimize civilian risk before the “precise” attack. According to the army, these command centers were used to plan and execute terrorist attacks against Israeli soldiers and citizens.
This conflict began a year ago when Hamas militants invaded Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking 250 hostages. Israel responded with massive attacks, resulting in over 41,800 casualties, as reported by the Hamas-run health ministry.
