Activist Verydarkman Criticizes Nigerian Government Over Borrowing, Raises Millions for Education Initiative
Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman, has slammed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government for constantly borrowing from international organizations. Verydarkman, who recently raised over 21 million naira for his non-governmental organization focused on education, questioned the government’s financial priorities.
In a trending video, Verydarkman joked that he expected the government to borrow from him given the amount he raised. He also criticized comedian MC Jollof for promoting football gambling, accusing him of corrupting youths.
The activist plans to promote transparency among NGOs and support dedicated Nigerian youths in their pursuit of financial independence. Verydarkman has already given N250,000 to four fans for self-development.
Reactions to Verydarkman’s comments have been mixed, with some praising his commitment to education and others questioning his motives.
