Peter Obi Condemns Rising Violence in Nigeria

Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has denounced the escalating incidents of killings, kidnappings, and violent crimes across Nigeria.
Obi specifically condemned the ambush killing of Supersports TV crew members and a policeman along the Ihiala-Orlu Road in Anambra State. The victims were en route to cover the Super Eagles’ 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The former Anambra State governor expressed concern over non-state actors inflicting pain and sorrow on families through kidnappings and gruesome killings. He also cited a recent terror attack in Benue State’s Agatu local government area.
