Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has voiced his skepticism regarding President Bola Tinubu’s capacity to alleviate the suffering of the Nigerian masses.

Momodu, a veteran journalist and former presidential candidate, stated on Channels Television’s Politics Today that he doesn’t see a positive outcome for Nigeria under Tinubu’s administration.

“I’ve lived long enough in this country called Nigeria. I’ve listened to all the sweet talks by politicians. I have yet to see the sign of that light at the end of the tunnel,” Momodu said.

He expressed his doubts despite the Minister of Budget Planning, Atiku Bagudu’s assurance that the federal government is working to change the narrative and improve the living conditions of Nigerians.

Momodu’s concerns stem from the lack of tangible progress and the presence of politicians who are not ready for change.
