The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has yet to announce its decision on the disputed AFCON qualifying match between Libya and Nigeria. CAF’s Disciplinary Committee held a video conference with both parties on Wednesday but hasn’t reached a verdict.
The match, scheduled for October 15, was canceled after Nigeria’s team protested their treatment upon arrival in Libya, including an 18-hour airport detention without food or water.
