EFCC Arrests Four Suspects for Bank Hacking and Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested four individuals for allegedly hacking into banks’ computer systems and fraudulently withdrawing depositors’ funds.
The suspects, including Chima Nwigwe, Effiong Emmanuel, Mohammed Mahmud, and Damian Ali, were apprehended in a sting operation in Abuja.

According to EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, the suspects will face charges for conspiracy, unauthorized access, and fraudulent withdrawals.
The EFCC’s investigation is ongoing, with plans to prosecute the suspects upon its completion.
