Kano Governor Seeks Release of Detained Minors
Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has directed the state’s Attorney General to intervene in the detention of minors from Kano arrested during the #EndBadGovernance protests.
The minors, visibly malnourished, were arraigned alongside 76 others on charges including treason and incitement to mutiny.
Governor Yusuf instructed the Commissioner of Justice to act immediately, stating, “We shall do everything possible to get them back to Kano.”
The Federal Government had arraigned the protesters, including minors, before Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
