President Bola Tinubu Reappoints Prof. Samson Duna as NBRRI Director General

President Bola Tinubu has reappointed Prof. Samson Duna as the Director General of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) for another four-year term. This decision was announced in a statement by NBRRI’s Deputy Director of Information, Peter Mashem, in Abuja.
Prof. Duna, a renowned Civil Engineering expert from Gombe State, has been leading the Institute since 2020. He boasts an impressive portfolio, being a COREN Registered Engineer and a fellow of various prestigious professional bodies, including:
- Nigerian Institute of Engineering Management (MNIEM)
- Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (FNICE)
- Nigerian Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (FNAEGE)
- Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE)
Additionally, Prof. Duna serves as a Council Member of the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and a member of the Industrial/Sectorial Board for the Regional Transport Research and Education Centre, Kumasi (TRECK), Ghana.
This reappointment underscores President Tinubu’s confidence in Prof. Duna’s leadership and expertise in driving the NBRRI’s mission forward.
