BREAKING: Labour Party suspends Enugu Senator over alleged anti-party, insurbodination

The Labour Party has suspended Senator Kevin Chukwu, representing Enugu East Senatorial Zone, for 90 days due to alleged anti-party activities and insubordination. The suspension was made by the Amuri ward executives in a letter signed by Comrade Chika Okoh, chairman of the party in Amurri ward ¹.

  • Acts of insubordination to the party leadership
  • Involvement in anti-party activities
  • Failure to adhere to party principles

Senator Chukwu was given multiple opportunities to respond to the allegations but failed to do so. The suspension is effective immediately, and Chukwu has been informed of his rights under the party’s constitutional provisions.
