Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, announced that the Maiduguri dry inland port will commence operations in six months. He made this statement in Lagos after meeting with the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) Executive Secretary, Pius Akutah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor Zulum expressed confidence that the port will bring opportunities to the state, including job creation and economic growth.
