Ogun LG Polls: OGSIEC to Publish List of Successful Candidates on Monday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) has announced that it will publish the list of successful candidates for the upcoming local government polls on Monday, October 14, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chairman Babatunde Osibodu expressed satisfaction with the screening exercise, which was conducted seamlessly across the state’s three Senatorial Districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I guarantee you that at the end of it, everybody will see that we are fair,” Osibodu assured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commissioner Tunji Akoni encouraged aspirants to engage directly with voters and ensure their campaigns reach the grassroots, reassuring that OGSIEC would conduct a free, fair, and credible election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commissioner Gbemi Onasanya stressed the importance of parties presenting trustworthy and loyal agents to protect their votes on election day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates, including Azeez Balogun, Babatunde Diya, and Theophilus Olorode, commended OGSIEC for its preparedness and professionalism during the screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
