Sensitive Election Materials Arrive in Ondo for Governorship Poll

The Ondo State governorship election, scheduled for November 16, 2024, has taken a significant step forward with the arrival of sensitive election materials in Akure, the state capital ¹. The materials, transported by the Nigerian Air Force, were received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Election Preparations
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has assured stakeholders of a smooth and secure election process ². To ensure this, INEC conducted a mock accreditation of voters using the BVAS machine to test the state’s readiness ³. Additionally, 111 accredited organisations and 3,554 observers will be present during the election.
